The Auzora theme does not come with any default sidebar or you can
say this theme does not support any sidebar. A sidebar is essential for a
wordpress site as we can add widgets into them.
Don’t worrry, I have come up with a solution on how to add sidebar in Auzora theme.
To enable sidebar on Auzora theme you have to work on three files only and I have already setup these files for you, just download and replace the new files from the zip archive with existing files in your theme (please do read instructions first).
Warning: As I am not asking money for the help so, I should never be held responsible for any damage to your site.
Insturction:-
Step 1 – Access you wordpress site with ftp or cpanel, go to wp-contents > themes > auzora
Step 2 – Rename these three files
a. index.php (to index_old.php)
b. style.css (to style_old.css)
c. functions.php (to functions_old.php)
Step 3 – Upload these four files from zip archive to Auzora folder
a. index.php
b. style.css
c. functions.php
4. sidebar-homepage.php
(upload above files from zip archive to auzora theme folder)
Now, refresh you site, if you see sidebar not in place, refresh it once again, it takes few seconds to load the new css file.
Beware : while you upload you should not see (file already exist, replace?) notification, if you see this message stop uploading and rename the said file first
Note: In case you do any mistakes, you already have the _old files, you can replace my files with them.
